Cheshire, passing through Preston Brook Tunnel (all 78 yards of it!), the most northerly tunnel on the West Coast Main Line. That's right, there isn't another tunnel all the way to Glasgow!

Nearly there! The oh-so familiar signal PN 274, directing us into the Carnforth goods loop, where the steam engine will take over for the next part of the tour.

Lord Peter Hendy of Richmond Hill, the chairman of Network Rail, is seen with BOTH Les Rosses at Euston station!

Long Train! Canada again. Containers, two deep on the flats, running round four curves with the end of the train still not in sight. Two, or is it even three(?), locomotives at the front..
